Atlas® Pro-9D Overhead 9,000 lb. Capacity Direct Drive Premium 2 Post Lift

The Atlas Pro-9D 9,000 lb. 2 Post Lift is the perfect choice for those customers who demand the most lifting capacity at a great price.

The Atlas Pro-9D has symmetric columns and specially designed arms that can be set in either the symmetric or asymmetric position. The asymmetric/symmetric arm design offers an extremely low lift pad position on the EZ-metric lift arm configuration. This low pad height allows the operator to position the lift arms under most small cars (with low pick up points) and heavier pick up trucks utilizing the longer rear arms.

The Atlas Pro-9D includes: a complete set of solid peg type truck adapters, mounting hardware, and a 220 volt single phase power unit that can be mounted on either side of the lift. (The power unit column must be on the correct side).

The Atlas 9,000 lb. capacity overhead 2-post lift is perfect for your small business or home shop.  It allows perfect access to almost any part on your car or small truck.  Make working on and maintaining your cars an easy and safe experience.

Racer Recommendation:

The PRO9D has premium features that almost no other 9k lift offers- Single point lock release and Direct Drive cylinders. This is the lift to work on your race car because of its extremely low pad height and solid reliability.  This will allow you to lift most race cars without the use of blocks or ramps.  If you do not have at least 12′ ceiling height, but still want to go with a two post lift please check-out our Race Tools Direct 9,000 lb Base Plate two-post lift designed for low ceiling garages.

It’s compact but strong. Doesn’t take up too much bay space and still handles everything I throw at it. Atlas made a good one with this.

Love it. Been using it 3–4 days a week for everything from oil changes to full suspension jobs. Feels strong and safe. Worth every penny.

This is not a lift for show. It’s for work. If you’re serious about wrenching, this one pulls its weight. You’ll notice the difference compared to lower-end lifts — guaranteed.

Assembly was straight-forward. Instructions weren’t amazing but didn’t need ’em much. I just measured three times before drilling and it lined up fine. Running strong since install.

Thought about going cheaper, glad I didn’t. You can feel the difference when the arms click in — snug, solid, no wiggle. I use this in a small commercial space. Holds up to daily use without complaint.

You know that feeling when you trust your tools? That’s this lift. I’ve got two sedans and a light truck in rotation. It handles them all easy. Doesn’t jerk, doesn’t whine. Real solid unit.

The Pro-9D is what I’d call no-BS equipment. Direct drive makes it quieter and smoother than I expected. Setup wasn’t bad, though it’s definitely not a solo job. Once bolted in, it’s stayed tight and clean. I’m running two bays — this one gets used more.

Direct drive is a game changer. I’ve got it mounted over a 5.5” slab, and it feels rock solid. No weird vibrations. Power unit isn’t loud either, which is rare. I’d recommend it if you’re done with budget gear.

Real talk: it’s not flashy. It’s not fancy. But it lifts clean, locks in right, and keeps my workflow moving. I’d take this over a cheaper model any day.
